1. I got to see Baby Brendan and listened to Cheri sing him Twinkle Twinkle and the ABC song until he passed out.
2. I was able to celebrate the start of Annie's 30th year with champagne and cheesecake.
3. I was in our nation's capital for one of the biggest events in the history of the United States. While I didn't stay for the inauguration, I did feel this amazing energy running through D.C. Something I will never forget for the rest of my life.
4. I finally met Jamie's future husband. So weird that I met his mom, brother & sister months before I met him. I think Jamie & Eoin are perfect for each other and was happy to see them so happy. I could have done without all the bird feeding & making out, but other than that it was really fun. :-)
5. I met Annie's future husband. He's very funny, obviously adores Annie and didn't make me do a single shot of whiskey.
6. I had a pint of the best Guiness since Ireland.
7. I successfully negotiated with a man selling Obama buttons. He was selling them for $5 a piece, but I got two for $7.
8. I had THE best brunch I've ever had in my life. If you're ever in D.C. go to Poste at the Monaco Hotel or Hotel Monaco (something like that)
9. There was a stop at WaWa on the way home. Italian shortie anyone?
10. I earned the nickname Aunt Binky and hope that Brendan grows up calling me that.
The only thing that would have made the last 96 hours better is if I didn't have to go to work today. K I'm going to watch the Inaugural Balls now before the quality TV starts with Real Housewives of Orange County.
Brendan just woke up fussing... does Aunt Binky make housecalls?
