July

I can't believe we're two days into the month of August! I was thinking about everything that happened in July and I've decided it's been the best month so far this year. Here's why...

I had two beach weekends and one weekend at Lake Norman. The first beach weekend was over 4th of July with one of my favorite couples, Ruda & Justin. Lake Norman was part of a roadtrip with Liz to visit Melin & Joe. Lots of bonding time during the 16 hours in the car. The second beach weekend was this past weekend to the Hamptons. My first time out there and I loved every minute of it/can't wait to go back in a few days.

I spent time with all of my mom friends and their sons. A pool day with Cheri/Brendan. Visiting Lauren's new baby Brody in the hospital. A morning playing with cuties Connor & Camden before the roadtrip.

Floor seats to see Lady GaGa (thanks Christine) and very hard to get tickets to see Al Pacino in Merchant of Venice (thanks Bank of America)

I had dinner two separate nights with cousins on my mom's side and on my dad's side. Dinner at DBGB with Sarah & Jeremiah (best burger ever!) and dinner with my cousin Christopher & his wife Diana who were visiting from CA and i hadn't seen in years.

I unexpectedly got to see Annie & Jamie as part of the roadtrip to Charlotte. So happy it worked out that way! I also unexpectedly got to have Korean BBQ with Nancy and there was even a surprise visit from Dawn!

The only thing that could have made the month better would have been seeing my Floridian friend Carrie Parri. That will happen in October. Maybe the month of October will top the month of July!
